Mezezius (668-669). AV Solidus. Syracuse mint. Sear 1146.

Obv: ∂ . n . ᴍєᴢєᴢıчs ᴘᴘ . ᴀᴠч .(NOTE THE 2ND Z IS RETORGRADE) Bust facing, with beard and long moustache, wearing plumed helmet and cuirass, and holding globus cruciger and shield.

Rev: ᴠıcᴛᴏʀıᴀ ᴀᴠҁч . (followed by є or s). Cross potent on three steps; beneath, cᴏɴᴏʙ.
